I give back.
On December 8, I’m running and giving back.
I’ll be running through the Castro, donned in only red scivies and shoes, with a bunch of other goofballs, to raise money for the San Francisco AIDS Foundation.
Why bother? HIV and AIDS are no longer a problem, right? There’s PrEP to prevent and effective drugs to survive, right?
Yep to both, yet there were still 197 new cases of HIV reported in San Francisco in 2018 and 252 deaths. To top that off, there are over 16,000 people in San Francisco living with HIV.
There’s still work to be done - that’s why I’m running and asking for your support. Let's "Get to Zero!"
