Is there a fundraising minimum for the Santa Skivvies Run?
Yes. Santa Skivvies Run is a fundraiser for San Francisco AIDS Foundation. The $150 fundraising minimum is required and all registered runners must meet or exceed that fundraising goal in order to participate in the run or to enter Santa’s Village. This policy ensures that we can effectively raise critical funds for San Francisco AIDS Foundation while also providing you with a fabulous Santa Skivvies Run experience. When you go to check-in that day, you will be given a wristband that will give you access to games, activities and free stuff!
What do I wear for the Santa Skivvies Run?
Come stripped to your skivvies, speedos, bras, or other red under gear – as bare as you dare! Or, wear your favorite festive, holiday costume. Reindeer onesies are just as welcome as mistletoe thongs. Anything (well, almost anything) goes!

Yes. But your registration fee goes right toward your fundraising minimum!
What do I do with my clothes while I run?
There will be a gear check tent where you can drop off your clothes, jackets, etc. before the run starts. You can then reclaim when you're back.

What time does the run start?
The run begins between 10:45 AM - 11:00 AM. But you must be checked in by 10:45 AM. So arrive early to allow time for check-in, picking up your fundraising incentives, and handing off your stuff to the Gear-check Elves.

Why should I fundraise for Santa Skivvies Run?
Not only is Santa Skivvies Run a really fun event, it’s also a major fundraiser of San Francisco AIDS Foundation. San Francisco AIDS Foundation works to end the HIV epidemic in the city where it began, and eventually everywhere. Established in 1982, our mission is the radical reduction of new infections in San Francisco because we refuse to accept HIV as inevitable. Through education, advocacy and direct services for prevention and care, we are confronting HIV in communities most vulnerable to HIV. The money raised by participants will enable San Francisco AIDS Foundation to continue these efforts. You can learn more about San Francisco AIDS Foundation by visiting our website at sfaf.org.
